This role is designed for a hands-on engineer who can contribute independently, solve complex backend problems and raise engineering standards across the team.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

• Own backend services across design, development, testing, debugging, rollout and enhancement.
• Build high-performance, scalable and extensible applications.
• Design and implement RESTful web services .
• Develop and troubleshoot highly concurrent and multi-threaded applications.
• Identify and resolve memory leaks and performance issues, including GC tuning.
• Work hands-on with AWS cloud resources .
• Develop and troubleshoot applications in Linux/Unix environments.
• Work with databases and Bash scripting.
• Contribute to CI/CD, GitHub and engineering best practices.
• Participate in code and design reviews.
• Guide other engineers toward stronger technical practices.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We’re looking for an engineer who has solved real production-scale backend problems, not someone limited to basic feature development.

• 4+ years of hands-on Core Java development.
• Strong Data Structures and Algorithms fundamentals.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful web services.
• Strong understanding of concurrency and multi-threading.
• Hands-on experience with memory optimization, memory leaks and GC tuning.
• Production experience with AWS.
• Hands-on Linux/Unix and Bash scripting.
• Strong database knowledge.
• Understanding of CI/CD and version control.
• Ability to guide other software engineers.
