Job Description
Title: Temporary Project Manager, Retail Design
Industry: Retail and Hospitality
Location: New York, NY
Duration: October 26th – 6 months
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple retail and hospitality projects from design and planning through completion for our client’s branded locations.
- Produce schematic design and design development drawing packages for new wholesale stores and renovations.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, bidding documents, and cost coordination in partnership with project management consultants, suppliers, and retail partners.
- Review and approve millwork shop drawings and coordinate project scope and details with millworkers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and accounts.
- Coordinate requirements with internal teams and external partners while adhering to established AutoCAD, drafting, project management, and directory standards.
Requirements
- High proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office—particularly Excel—and SketchUp.
- Knowledge of millwork standards, detailing, and construction.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat X Pro, BIM 360, and Smartsheet.
- Project management experience, including budget management, scheduling, and cost analysis.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
