AI Adoption & Enablement Consultant

AI Adoption & Enablement Consultant needed for a 3 month contract (to start) at our direct client in Eatontown NJ on a hybrid basis 3 days a week - this consultant will work 1 on 1 with users across the group to assess their manual processes and how to automate their needs through AI.

We are seeking a highly motivated AI Adoption & Enablement Consultant to accelerate the practical use of Generative AI tools across the business. This role will partner directly with business users through 1:1, hands-on desk-time to identify high-value use cases, educate teams on AI capabilities, demonstrate measurable productivity gains, and drive adoption of AI-powered solutions.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a blend of business acumen and technical aptitude. While this is not a software development position, the successful candidate must be comfortable understanding technology concepts, translating business challenges into AI-enabled solutions, and guiding users on effective prompt engineering and AI best practices.

This position will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and emerging AI technologies, helping users realize measurable value from tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude Desktop, internally developed AI solutions, and future AI capabilities.

What you will do:

AI Training & Enablement

• Conduct one-on-one and small-group coaching sessions with business users
• Demonstrate practical business use cases for Generative AI tools
• Provide hands-on guidance for various tools including (but not limited to): Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude Desktop, internal AI platforms and assistants, and emerging AI productivity tools
• Develop role-based AI training materials and learning paths

Business Process Discovery

• Meet directly with business stakeholders to understand workflows, challenges, and productivity bottlenecks
• Identify opportunities where AI can reduce effort, improve quality, or accelerate outcomes
• Translate business needs into actionable AI use cases
• After working across multiple users and functions, identify repeatable needs that may justify the use of agentic AI, then partner with IT to evaluate, prioritize, and formalize potential AI agent opportunities for broader business use.

Value Measurement & ROI Analysis

• Establish baseline metrics for targeted business processes
• Quantify time savings and efficiency gains associated with the adoption of AI
• Track and report hours saved, productivity improvements, user adoption metrics and business impact

Prompt Library & Knowledge Management

• Design and maintain a centralized prompt library accessible to business users
• Create reusable prompts for common business scenarios
• Develop standards for prompt structure and quality

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong working relationships across business and technology teams
• Serve as a trusted advisor for AI adoption initiatives
• Gather feedback and continuously improve enablement materials
• Facilitate workshops, office hours, and AI adoption sessions

What YOU will bring:

• Demonstrated experience working directly with business stakeholders
• Critical requirement: must be a hands-on Generative AI practitioner who actively uses GenAI tools to solve real business problems, create practical prompts, and coach users through live examples.
• Ability to learn and demonstrate new AI technologies quickly
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to quantify value and ROI
• Comfortable discussing technology concepts with both technical and non-technical audiences
• High confidence and experience with prompt engineering concepts and best practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, technology consulting, training, digital transformation, or a related field
• Experience evaluating business processes and identifying efficiency opportunities
• Demonstrated success delivering training, workshops, or user enablement programs
