Equity Research AI Trainer - Remote Contract (Financial Research)

About the Role

NeonLabs is collaborating with a leading AI lab to engage US and Canada based equity research experts to train and enhance frontier AI models.

You will analyze and extract critical data from public SEC filings, applying your expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and corporate disclosure analysis to build advanced tools for the equity research space.

This is a fully remote independent contractor role with a flexible schedule and a minimum four-week engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and extract critical data from public SEC filings.
• Apply financial modeling, valuation, and corporate disclosure expertise to research tasks.
• Evaluate AI-generated financial analysis for accuracy and analytical rigor.
• Collaborate with AI researchers building tools for equity research.
• Provide structured written feedback that improves model performance.

Ideal Qualifications

• 2+ years of equity research experience at a top-tier investment bank, asset management firm, or specialized financial research institution.
• Direct hands-on experience interpreting public SEC filings.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Open to United States and Canada residents only (H1-B and STEM OPT are not supported).

Compensation & Contract Terms

• Rate: $90 - $110 per hour (USD).
• Type: Independent Contractor.
• Payments: Weekly via Stripe or Wise.
• Schedule: Minimum 10 hours per week, flexible, remote, and asynchronous.
• Contract Duration: Variable based on needs and performance (projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early).
