Role: Network Operations Automation and Reporting Engineer Position Type: Permanent

Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad (Work from office)

Shift Flexibility: Must be open to working in shifts

Core Responsibilities

• Manage and track daily operational issues from identification to closure
• Prepare and publish daily status reports covering:
• Open issues / backlog
• Progress updates
• Risks / blockers
• Ensure all updates are accurate, structured, and ready for audit/review
• Perform data validation and reconciliation across multiple data sources
• Analyze issues using data correlation and structured troubleshooting
• Coordinate with technical teams to drive timely resolution
• Maintain clear and consistent documentation of findings and actions

✅ Daily Reporting (Key Requirement – MUST HAVE)

• Own end-to-end daily reporting process
• Generate reports using Excel / dashboards including:
• Issue status
• Aging / SLA tracking
• Trend analysis (daily/weekly)
• Ensure reporting is:
• Consistent (same format daily)
• Accurate (no data gaps/mismatches)
• Actionable (highlights risks and priorities clearly)
• Communicate updates to stakeholders in a clear, concise, professional format

✅ Technical Skills (Tool-Agnostic)

• Strong Excel / data handling skills (pivot tables, lookups, structured sheets)
• Working knowledge of Python or scripting (for automation of reports/tasks)
• Experience handling multiple datasets / CSV / reports from different sources
• In depth Understanding of network architecture and connectivity
• Good hands-on experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)

• Ability to identify data inconsistencies and resolve them logically
• Strong problem-solving mindset with structured approach
• Capability to handle incomplete or conflicting data
• Focus on root cause analysis, not just surface-level fixes

✅ Automation & Process Improvement

• Identify repetitive/manual work and automate wherever possible
• Build simple tools/scripts to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy
• Continuously optimize processes for speed, quality, and scalability

✅ Soft Skills

• Strong ownership mindset (takes issue to closure, not just updates status)
• Ability to work in high-pressure daily troubleshooting/reporting environment
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Good stakeholder coordination skills
