We treat every product as a curated piece, and every customer as someone who deserves a story, not a pitch. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Demonstrate, explain, and tell the story behind every product we carry — turning complex specifications into language people connect with emotionally
• Process transactions, returns, exchanges, and warranty claims through our POS and CRM systems. Accuracy and patience matter
• Capture customer feedback and product insights — your observations on the floor directly shape our brand partnerships and inventory decisions
• Build genuine, ongoing relationships with customers, members, and our brand community
• Keep the gallery immaculate: cleaning demo units, polishing displays and screens, restocking shelves between customers, refreshing floor zones. Every fingerprint on a $3,000 product affects the experience
• Receive and unbox stock deliveries from brand partners and couriers; coordinate product shipping; occasionally assist our marketing team with product photography for our social channels
• Run opening and closing routines: cash and EFTPOS reconciliation, end-of-day stocktake spot-checks, securing the store

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• An obsession with consumer technology. You probably already follow Marques Brownlee, Linus Tech Tips, MrWhoseTheBoss, or read The Verge / Wired weekly. Tech is not a job description for you — it’s a personality trait
• 1+ year experience in premium retail, customer-facing technology, or hospitality
• A fast metabolism for change. If “fast-paced” reads as a warning to you, this isn’t the right role. If it reads as an invitation, keep reading.
• Exceptional storytelling communication. You can take “32MP 1-inch sensor with dual-native ISO and HDR pipeline” and turn it into “this captures your kid’s first steps the way your eye remembers them — not the way a phone flattens them.” You translate, you don’t recite .
• Genuine warmth and emotional intelligence. You treat the casual browser the same way you treat the $20,000 customer. You read the room before you read the spec sheet.
• A willingness to do the work end-to-end. From storytelling on the floor to unboxing on the loading dock, from running a workshop to wiping down a demo screen — you take pride in all of it.
• Comfort with technology you’ll use behind the scenes — POS systems, customer databases, scheduling tools, basic spreadsheets.
• Availability across weekdays and weekends. Our peak hours follow the city’s; weekend shifts are part of every role.
