Technical Design Intern

Responsibilities:

• Preparing for and Assisting in the fittings
• Tracking the samples and logging them into the system
• Garment spec’ing efficiently and accurately
• Facilitating the timely sample, fabric and trim approvals and other components to support on time deliveries
• Updating tech packs for production
• Communicating daily with overseas factories to follow up, answer questions and problem solve
• Running errands to garment district as needed

Requirements

Requirements:

• Preferably Tech design major, Fashion Design major is also good
• knowledge of womenswear and/or menswear garment construction, pattern making
• Attention to detail, strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite proficient
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment
• Adaptability to wear different hats to finish projects
• Positive, friendly, can-do attitude, willingness to learn
• Animal lover (we have an office puppy!)
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Daily rate depends on the experience
