Senior/Staff AI Scientist, Antibody Design

For our client, we are seeking a Senior/Staff AI Scientist, Antibody Design to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will focus on advancing AI-enabled approaches that improve therapeutic discovery and design outcomes. You will partner closely with interdisciplinary scientists to develop, evaluate, and refine computational methods that support antibody and protein design. The work will span model development, experimental data analysis, and the translation of complex technical insights into practical scientific progress.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance design processes using innovative computational strategies.
• Optimize therapeutic design goals through multi-objective approaches.
• Develop AI-driven solutions to tackle specific design challenges.
• Analyze both in silico and in vitro results to refine methodologies.
• Produce impactful research to position the organization as a leader in AI-enabled antibody design.
• Ensure accessibility and interpretability of work for scientists from diverse backgrounds.
• Commit to continuously learning new techniques to strengthen scientific output.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in a relevant field such as Machine Learning or Computational Biology.
• 3+ years of experience linking machine learning with protein design or molecular modeling.
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch for AI development.
• Experience designing and evaluating AI algorithms for protein-related tasks.
• Collaborative skills in fast-paced interdisciplinary settings.
• Ability to present complex technical information to varied audiences.
• Strong publication record in high-impact scientific forums.
