The Data, Software & AI Platform, a vital part of Digital Solutions, is dedicated to delivering accurate, available, and comprehensive data products that enable actionable insights across the organization. We build and operate scalable data platforms and services that power analytics, reporting, machine learning, and AI-driven solutions.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and operation of cloud-native data platforms and streaming solutions. You will collaborate with software engineers, platform engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure data products that support Vestas’ digital transformation journey.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-based deployment processes

Deploy, operate, and resolve issues in workloads running on Kubernetes-based platforms

Monitor platform health, performance, and reliability using Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, and VictoriaMetrics

Perform root cause analysis, incident management, and production support activities

Collaborate with platform teams on architecture, scalability, security, and operational excellence

Contribute to automation and infrastructure improvements that enhance platform reliability and developer productivity

Support platform users and stakeholders with data ingestion, processing, and analytics workloads

Qualifications

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Similar specialization

5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure Operations

Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD implementations

Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes

Familiarity with infrastructure automation, monitoring, logging, and observability tools

Experience working with modern data platforms and data warehousing technologies, Snowflake

Experience with streaming technologies and event-driven architectures, Confluent Kafka

Experience working with Microsoft Azure Services and Azure DevOps

Skilled in problem-solving, issue diagnosis, and day-to-day operational support

Effective collaboration and communication skills in a global environment
