MERN Stack – Full Stack Developer React.js, Node.js & Next.js

Important: Candidates must have hands-on experience in both React.js and Node.js . Profiles without either of these mandatory skills will not be considered.

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on expertise in React.js and Node.js to design, develop, test and maintain scalable, enterprise-grade web applications.

The role involves working closely with product owners, architects, QA engineers and DevOps teams to deliver reliable and high-performance applications.

Experience in Next.js, Nuxt.js, PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable web applications using React.js and Node.js.
• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Develop secure, high-performance RESTful APIs, microservices and backend services.
• Integrate front-end applications with backend systems and third-party APIs.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps and Architecture teams.
• Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, code reviews and sprint planning.
• Write clean, reusable and maintainable code.
• Optimise applications for performance, scalability, security and reliability.
• Develop and maintain database schemas, complex queries, procedures and stored procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and application defects.
• Follow coding standards, security best practices and software development methodologies.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team’s technical excellence.
• Support CI/CD implementation and cloud-native development practices.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing.

Mandatory Skills

Front-End Development

• Strong hands-on experience in React.js
• Proficiency in JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript
• Experience with HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience with Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS or equivalent UI frameworks
• Familiarity with Redux, Zustand, Context API or similar state-management libraries

Back-End Development

• Strong hands-on experience in Node.js
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Knowledge of Express.js, NestJS or similar backend frameworks
• Experience with authentication and authorisation mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth

Database

• Strong SQL knowledge
• Database design experience
• Experience writing complex queries, procedures and stored procedures
• Database performance optimisation experience
