Frontend Developer

An established financial services company is looking for an experienced engineer to join the team. This role focuses on evolving a robust design system and architecting the core components that power user interfaces across the organization. The successful candidate will work with a modern tech stack to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across all digital products.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the development and evolution of a scalable, reusable design system.

• Architect and implement web components to serve as foundational UI building blocks.

• Drive advanced theming solutions using CSS variables and sophisticated color systems.

• Manage the full lifecycle of components including versioning and package dependencies.

• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to translate principles into technical solutions.

What we’re looking for

• Extensive experience in front-end development with a focus on design systems.

• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks like Angular and React.

• Mastery of CSS, including advanced styling techniques and variable stacking.

• Proven track record in scaling design systems and managing complex theming architectures.

• Strong expertise in Web Components and library dependency management.
