Azure Service Engineer
Location: Remote
Position Type: Full-Time (Contract)
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Azure Service Engineer to design and implement cloud-native solutions that connect enterprise applications with Azure infrastructure. In this remote contract position, your primary focus will be developing integrations using Azure PaaS and customizing Dynamics 365 to support core business operations.
Reporting to engineering leadership, you will work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and key stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable systems.
Core Responsibilities & Required Technical Expertise
- Cloud Application Development: Design and build cloud-native applications utilizing Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps.
- API & Integration Engineering: Develop robust API integrations using Azure Service Bus and Azure API Management.
- Dynamics 365 Customization: Build custom Dynamics 365 solutions using the Dynamics 365 SDK, C#, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Security & Identity Management: Implement secure application development practices using Azure Key Vault and manage identities and access roles via Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
- System Monitoring: Track and manage system performance and reliability utilizing Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and skill in developing Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls.
- Understanding of Azure DevOps for managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of OData endpoints and FetchXML for data retrieval within Dynamics 365.
- Experience utilizing RESTful services and JSON for data exchange.
- Prior background in migrating legacy systems to Azure cloud infrastructure.
