About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with strong AWS expertise to design, develop, and support a scalable global real estate platform for a leading financial services client.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across backend development, modern web technologies, cloud-native solutions, and microservices architecture. This role will involve working closely with technology, business, and banking stakeholders in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java 8+/11+, Spring Boot, and Microservices .
• Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using ReactJS or Angular .
• Design, deploy, and support cloud solutions using AWS services , including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, and SQS/SNS.
• Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
• Implement event-driven processing using Kafka or other messaging platforms .
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Git and Jenkins .
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes .
• Collaborate with business, technology, and banking stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, peer feedback, and evolving technical requirements.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across different time zones.
• Support platform operations and contribute to scalable, cloud-native application development.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have

• 5–7 years of hands-on Full Stack Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Java 8+/11+ .
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and Microservices architecture .
• Experience developing REST APIs and working with Hibernate/JPA .
• Front-end development experience with ReactJS or Angular .
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS , including:
• EC2
• S3
• Lambda
• RDS
• DynamoDB
• SQS/SNS
• IAM
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases , including PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
• Experience with Git and Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines .
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes .
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms .
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Good to Have

• AWS certification, such as AWS Solutions Architect – Associate .
• Experience integrating AI/ML services or APIs .
• Banking or Financial Services industry experience.
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation .
• Knowledge of serverless architecture and event-driven design.
• Familiarity with enterprise API gateway and security integration patterns.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field .
• Master’s degree is a plus.
