What the job involves
- The Public Sector & the Strategic Sector within the Amazon Business organization, are looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization
- We are looking for someone to support two Directors, one based in London, the other based in Luxembourg
- This isn’t your typical EA role. We’re not looking for someone to just manage calendars and inboxes (though yes, those matter too)
- We’re looking for a partner—someone who’s proactive, curious, and always thinking, “there’s probably a better way to do this.” If you enjoy making chaos feel organized, finding smarter ways to work, particularly using GenAI, and eliminating manual, repetitive tasks, you’ll fit right in
- Own and expertly manage complex, dynamic calendars for two leaders with distinct yet interdependent portfolios—protecting focus time, sequencing meetings strategically, and resolving scheduling conflicts with sound judgment
- Build strong, trusted working relationships with EAs across AB and multiple VP partner teams across WW Amazon (US, EU, IN, JP)
- Drive continuous improvement by designing and implementing new mechanisms, processes, and tracking systems that enhance team effectiveness
- Own Public & Strategic team mechanisms including xBRs and All-Teams
- Own travel for both leaders, and plan and execute team events
- Oversee team space planning
- Own complex calendars across time zones, coordinate high-stakes meetings with senior leaders, and track critical deliverables
- Manage domestic and international travel, wrangle expense reports, and handle space planning as the org evolves
- Anticipate needs before they’re asked, handle urgent requests without breaking a sweat, and coordinate across teams without needing the full picture
