Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Home Health | Per Diem

Are you a licensed COTA who enjoys hands-on patient care and the flexibility of working in the community?

@Home Therapy is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide home-based occupational therapy services to adult patients in Astoria.

In this role, you will work under the direction of a supervising Occupational Therapist and help patients practice the skills they need to manage everyday life more safely and independently.

Your Responsibilities May Include

• Carrying out treatment programs established by the supervising OT.
• Assisting patients with functional activities and daily routines.
• Reinforcing therapeutic exercises and adaptive techniques.
• Observing patient performance and reporting changes or concerns.
• Supporting caregivers with therapy recommendations.
• Completing accurate visit documentation.

Requirements

• Active New York State COTA license.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
