Senior AI Project Manager

We are working with a major insurance firm for a for a Sr. AI Project Manager opportunity.

This is a contract role. This role is not eligible for employment-based immigration sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

Hybrid role (3 days a week onsite in NYC)

The AI Project Manager oversees the strategy, coordination, and successful delivery of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation programs throughout the organization. Acting as a key liaison among business leaders, technology teams, data science professionals, and governance stakeholders, this position ensures AI initiatives generate tangible business outcomes while adhering to established risk, regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements.

This role takes AI initiatives from initial concept to production, develops effective delivery methodologies, coordinates portfolios of related projects, and supports the successful integration of AI-driven solutions across the business. The position focuses on enabling technologies that improve workforce productivity, strengthen decision-making, elevate customer experiences, and optimize operational performance.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in managing AI and automation initiatives.
• 6+ years of Project/Program management experience.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex enterprise programs.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience developing executive-level presentations and business cases
