AI Engineer (Full Stack Engineering Lead) (GitHub Enterprise OR Copilot, Azure AI Foundry)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Apply AI-first engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, cloud-native full-stack applications.
Produce functional and technical specifications, architecture decisions, and acceptance criteria.
Provide technical leadership, guide engineering decisions, and ensure adherence to development standards.
Lead code and design reviews, ensuring quality, security, testing, and production readiness.
Mentor and coach junior engineers.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, security, operations, and business stakeholders.
Troubleshoot production issues and drive automation and continuous improvement.
Use AI tools responsibly to improve engineering productivity while maintaining accountability for quality and security.

Candidate Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise application development, with 3+ years in a Technical Lead role preferred.
Strong experience in modern full-stack development, APIs, data, cloud-native technologies, and modern architecture patterns.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development and AI-first engineering practices.
Experience with GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Copilot. Exposure to Azure AI Foundry, Copilot SDK, Semantic Kernel, AI Agents, RAG, and LLM applications is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, API-first development, and secure software engineering.
Experience developing mission-critical applications in complex or regulated environments.
Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively with global and cross-functional teams.

Pay: Up to RM25,000.00 per month
