Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an AI Prompt Engineer- Capital Markets. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and operationalizing AI prompts and workflows that support decision-making across various banking functions, including Capital Markets and Commercial Banking. Your expertise will help bridge front-office needs with AI-driven insights, ensuring platforms deliver accurate and timely outputs aligned with market dynamics, regulations, and enterprise data. This role offers the opportunity to work independently while collaborating with stakeholders, driving innovative AI solutions, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize AI prompts for trading, sales workflows, research generation, pricing analytics, and risk reporting.
• Tailor prompts to specific personas such as traders, sales, quants, and risk managers.
• Translate complex trading and banking workflows into effective AI-driven interactions for insights on market events, client portfolios, and trade opportunities.
• Ensure AI outputs are context-aware and decision-ready, enabling scenario analysis, trade recommendations, and risk insights.
• Leverage structured and unstructured data sources, integrating prompts with systems like Microsoft Fabric, Graph, Dataverse, and trading/risk platforms.
• Evaluate prompt performance in real trading scenarios, iterating based on feedback to enhance precision, latency, and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance standards, embedding guardrails for data privacy, explainability, and approval workflows.
• Develop reusable prompt libraries supporting trading, research, and sales workflows.
• Train and support front-office and middle-office teams in AI best practices, fostering adoption of AI-assisted processes.
• Collaborate with technology teams to support RAG-based architectures for research and knowledge retrieval.

Desired Skill-Set

• Strong experience (3+ years) in Capital Markets and Commercial Banking sales, including credit adjudication, AML/KYC, trading, and investment products.
• Deep understanding of credit adjudication lifecycle, product offerings, pricing models, P&L, risk metrics (e.g., VaR, sensitivities), and regulatory controls.
• Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience designing prompts for LLMs, Copilot, or GenAI platforms.
• Expertise with RAG pipelines, vector search, embeddings, and agentic workflows.
• Proficient in data analysis involving both structured and unstructured datasets.
• Familiarity with financial market data sources and datasets.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with traders, bankers, risk managers, and tech teams.
• Strong communication skills for translating business needs into technical AI solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience working within Microsoft ecosystem tools such as Fabric, Power Platform, or Graph API.
• Knowledge of Amazon Bedrock Agentcore architecture.
• Relevant postsecondary degree in a related field.
