Job Title:  Software Engineer (Junior – Middle)

💜 ABOUT NEWERA INC.

We are looking for  Software Engineers (Junior/Middle)  to join our engineering team and help build, maintain, and continuously improve  real products running in production .

💻 WHAT YOU’LL DO

🔹  Development & Maintenance

• Use coding agents to build products according to requirements.
• Maintain and extend applications already running in production.
• Fix bugs and add features without breaking existing behavior.

🔹  UI / Frontend

• Build interfaces according to design specifications.
• Follow the existing components and style systems used in the project.

🔹  API Integration

• Work closely with Backend Engineers to integrate APIs.
• Cross-check API documentation and implementation.
• Handle loading and error states.
• Identify and communicate incorrect or incomplete API contracts.

🔹  Testing & Quality

• Fix bugs reported by QA and production.
• Write tests for developed features.
• Never submit code you haven’t run and don’t understand.
• Support testing before release.

🔹  Documentation & AI Context

• Write documentation and improve repository context.
• Help coding agents make fewer mistakes over time.
• Learn continuously and demonstrate clear, visible progress every month.

🧩 REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVE:

• Solid foundation in  TypeScript .
• Experience with  ReactJS and Angular .
• Experience with  Zustand or equivalent  for React state management.
• Experience with  RxJS  in Angular.
• Experience with  ViteJS  or similar build tools.
• Ability to read and understand documentation and source code, including  legacy and undocumented code .
• Ability to write and run tests for your own features.
• Experience using  AI coding agents  and awareness of where they tend to get things wrong.
• Persistent, responsible, passionate, and willing to share knowledge and experience.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience shipping products in  Banking / Digital Banking / E-wallets .
• Experience with  FinTech / Payment  products.
• Experience in  E-commerce / Online Storefronts .
• Experience with  CMS  — content modeling, permissions, management, multi-language.
• Backend development experience.
• Experience upgrading Angular versions or migrating legacy frontend applications.
