Job Title: BY-WMS Engineer

Mode of Work: Hybrid work from office

Shift Timings: 2.30 PM IST to 11.30 PM IST

The Senior WMS Engineer will drive functional and technical design, solution delivery, and continuous improvement of the Blue Yonder WMS platform. This individual is accountable for integrated technology delivery execution, collaborating across IT, business, and distribution centre teams to ensure warehouse operations run at peak efficiency.?

What We’re Looking For ?

BY WMS Configuration & Customization ?

• Design and configure Blue Yonder WMS modules to meet complex warehouse business requirements;?5+ years hands-on with at least?1?full cycle?BY WMS?implementations.?

MOCA Architecture ?

• Deep understanding of Messaging, Object, Command Architecture ? the command layer underpinning BY WMS logic, scripting, and customization.?

Integration: APIs, EDI & Middleware ?

• Experience with SOAP/REST web services to connect WMS with ERP, TMS, and other systems; middleware tools including?Boomi and Azure?

SQL & RDBMS ?

• 2+ years proficient SQL across Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL for data analysis, troubleshooting, reporting, and performance tuning.?

ERP / TMS Connectivity ?

• Maintain integrations between BY WMS and ERP/TMS platforms using established webservice and API-based patterns.?

Code & Log Analysis ?

• Analyse application code, WMS configuration, data, and system logs to root-cause errors and drive resolution and optimization.?

Functional Specifications & Test Planning ?

• Author functional design documents, technical specs, and test scenarios;?identify?and close design gaps across workstreams.?

WMS Deployment Support ?

• Support deploying software deliveries from Blue Yonder/JDA associates;?Creating rollout scripts;?manage?changes?across development, QA, and production environments.?

Key Responsibilities ?

WMS Solution Design & Development ?

• Design, develop, and?optimize?the BY WMS solution to support warehouse operations and strategic projects?
• Configure and customize Blue Yonder WMS modules to meet evolving business requirements?
• Analyse code, configuration, data, and logs to find root causes of errors and revise the solution?
• Support deploying software deliveries from Blue Yonder / JDA associates?
• Lead functional design efforts: business process design, functional specifications, and test planning?
• Collaborate with stakeholders to?identify?and address design gaps?
• Support development of test strategy and identification of test scenarios?

Integration & Systems Architecture ?

• Connect BY WMS to ERP, TMS, and adjacent systems using SOAP/REST web services, APIs, and EDI?
• Leverage middleware platforms (MuleSoft, TIBCO, Boomi) for enterprise integration patterns?
• Analyse, define, and document technical requirements for data, workflow, logic, and system interfaces?

Warehouse Operations & Analytics ?

• Collect, analyse, and interpret warehouse data: inventory levels, order volumes, picking accuracy, shipping/receiving performance?
• Develop and track KPIs to measure warehouse performance,?identify?trends, and report to management?
• Identify?bottlenecks and inefficiencies; propose and implement process improvements to?optimize?efficiency?
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement measures to minimize stock discrepancies?

Cross-functional Collaboration & Training ?

• Partner with BY/JDA team, integration team, IT applications, and business teams for seamless alignment?
• Work directly with Distribution Centre managers and associates to understand and solve operational pain points?
• Develop and deliver training programs and documentation for warehouse staff on new processes and system updates?

Qualifications ?

Required ?

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, CIS, or equivalent combination of education and experience?
• 5+ years working with Blue Yonder / JDA WMS; at least?1?full-cycle implementation as Engineer or Consultant?in Blue yonder WMS cloud versions?
• 2+ years technical experience with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL); proficient SQL?
• Hands-on experience configuring and customizing Blue Yonder WMS modules?
