Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, test, and support scalable and highly available software applications. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience and a strong background in Java-based microservices, cloud technologies, APIs, databases, and modern DevOps practices.

This is a hands-on development role requiring strong software engineering, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. The selected candidate will work closely with product, architecture, quality engineering, delivery, and application operations teams to build reliable and maintainable digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and support scalable and highly available software applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready Java code.
• Develop and maintain Java-based microservices and REST APIs .
• Participate in application architecture and technical solution design.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and production issues.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, QA, DevOps, and application operations teams.
• Develop reusable software components and technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to software development best practices.
• Implement automated testing and support application reliability, security, and observability.
• Work with cloud technologies and modern DevOps practices to support application deployment and operations.
• Analyze technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
• Participate in Agile development processes, sprint planning, stand-ups, and other software delivery activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, application performance, and code quality.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools and methodologies where applicable to improve development efficiency and software quality.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional Java software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, JEE, and Spring Boot .
• Strong experience developing Microservices and REST APIs .
• Experience with JSON, OAuth, SQL, relational databases, and data modeling .
• Hands-on experience with AWS or another major cloud platform .
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Git .
• Experience designing and developing scalable, highly available, and reliable applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within Agile or another structured software development methodology .
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
