Job Description

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer – Sapiens IDIT to develop, configure, enhance, and support insurance applications built on the Sapiens IDIT platform. The successful candidate will work closely with Technical Leads, Business Analysts, QA, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that support General Insurance products and digital transformation initiatives. This role requires hands-on experience in Sapiens IDIT development, troubleshooting, system integration, and production support.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and customize solutions within the Sapiens IDIT platform.
  • Implement new product features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Configure business rules, workflows, product definitions, rating, underwriting, policy servicing, and document generation.
  • Develop reusable components following development standards and best practices.
  • Participate in requirement analysis and technical design discussions.
  • Convert functional specifications into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain REST APIs and system integrations.
  • Implement integrations between IDIT and external systems such as payment gateways, CRM, document management systems, and data platforms.
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support and investigate production incidents.
  • Prepare technical specifications and solution documentation.

About you

  • 3–5 years of software development experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Sapiens IDIT development.
  • Experience developing insurance policy administration solutions.
  • Strong understanding of General Insurance business processes.
  • Experience with REST APIs and system integration.
  • Good SQL and relational database skills.
  • Experience working with JSON and XML.
  • Experience using Git or Bitbucket for source control.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
  • Valid Sapiens IDIT Certification, such as Sapiens IDIT Certified Developer or Sapiens IDIT Technical Certification.
