Escrow Admin Assistant

**Contract (3 month covering a leave) Folsom, CA up to $30/hr Fully Onsite**

Our client, a title and escrow services company within the homebuilding industry, is seeking an Escrow Assistant to support a busy team of Escrow Officers and Assistants. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with escrow experience who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team.

Overview

This position will provide administrative and escrow support across a variety of functions including customer communication, document management, wire verification, scheduling, and transaction coordination. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-service-oriented, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a collaborative office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Escrow Officers and Escrow Assistants with daily transaction processing
• Contact buyers to verify information and introduce the closing process
• Verify wire instructions and assist with funding-related activities
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with questions
• Manage and process documents through CloseSimple and other platforms
• Order and update payoff statements, surveys, HOA information, and title documents
• Assist with opening and maintaining escrow files
• Coordinate closing appointments and communicate with lenders, agents, and buyers
• Review files for accuracy and completeness prior to closing
• Prepare receipts, deposits, disbursements, and closing packages
• Assist with document recording and final file completion
• Provide general administrative and office support as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent escrow experience required
• Experience working as an Escrow Assistant, Escrow Processor, or similar role
• Understanding of escrow terminology, processes, and documentation
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficient with Outlook and basic computer applications
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Reliable, dependable, and willing to assist wherever needed
• Experience with funding, booking, or closing activities is a plus
• Notary Public designation is a plus but not required
