Computer Network Technician

Ocean County based IT Managed Service Provider. We’re looking for a dependable, knowledgeable Network Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys troubleshooting, solving technical problems, working with people, and keeping network systems running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve connectivity, hardware, and network performance issues
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, wireless networks, and related equipment
• Perform network monitoring and routine maintenance
• Troubleshoot computers, servers, printers, cabling, and other network-connected devices
• Assist with network upgrades, installations, and projects
• Provide friendly and professional technical support to users
• Maintain accurate documentation of network equipment and configurations
• Provide support to clients both remotely and onsite

Qualifications

• Previous experience in network or IT support preferred
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and basic network security
• Experience with routers, switches, wireless networks, and network troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required (company vehicles available during work hours)
• Certifications are a plus
• Experience with Cisco, Sonicwall, Datto or Connectwise a plus
