Our client, one of the largest Energy companies in US providing a wide range of Energy related products and services to its customers, seeks accomplished Gen AI Business Analyst .

*** Duration: 6 months contract w/ possibility of extension or conversion to FTE role (based on performance & business needs)

Notes:

• Work Schedule: Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days remote).
• Work Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Description:

• Reason for Open Position: New AI Initiative team, increasing workflow delivery.
• Team Dynamic and Department: 10+ people - Customer Operations - AI Initiative; small cross-functional pod (PO/PM + Gen AI builders), growing.
• The AI Analyst will support Generative AI initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve business processes through the effective use of AI productivity tools.
• Working closely with the Generative AI Product Owner/Product Manager, this role will assist in evaluating AI use cases, documenting business requirements, testing AI solutions, and supporting adoption across the business.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where Generative AI can improve productivity and operational efficiency.
• Support the Gen AI Product Owner/Product Manager in gathering, documenting, and prioritizing business requirements.
• Evaluate and test AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, and other approved AI platforms.
• Develop and refine prompts to improve AI-generated outputs and business workflows.
• Document AI use cases, business processes, and best practices.
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of AI solutions.
• Analyze existing workflows and recommend opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Track adoption metrics and gather user feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Develop presentations, training materials, and documentation to support AI initiatives.
• Stay current on emerging Generative AI capabilities and recommend new business applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Related Industry Background: Gen AI, utility, telecom, financial services, or other regulated industry a plus.
• 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Technology Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience using Generative AI productivity tools in a professional environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Azure OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.
• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or other reporting/analytics tools.
• Experience supporting digital transformation or innovation initiatives.
• Utility or other regulated industry experience is a plus.
