Job Role: Hardware & Network Engineer

Job Description

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, laptops, servers, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Support Windows, Linux, and Mac OS installations and configurations.
• Perform system installations, hardware upgrades, and application installations.
• Configure and maintain LAN, wireless, USB, and network printers.
• Provide remote desktop support and resolve user issues through ticketing systems.
• Assist with the setup and configuration of new IT equipment.
• Support and maintain local LAN, Internet, and corporate WAN connectivity.
• Maintain CCTV and biometric systems.
• Manage user email accounts and resolve email-related issues.
• Handle backup management and assist with data restoration.
• Perform user data validation and maintain data integrity.
• Support security systems including firewalls, intrusion detection, antivirus, authentication systems, and log management.
• Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, solutions, and support procedures.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and service desk support solutions.
• Coordinate with other IT and Core Services teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Communicate effectively with employees to understand and resolve their IT requirements.
• Ensure timely resolution of user queries and technical issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6 months–1 year of experience in technical support or helpdesk roles.
• Strong hardware and networking knowledge.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.

• Salary: ₹12,000–₹15,000
