Staff Product Engineer (AI Dev Tools) | NYC | Up To $380k + Equity

Software Recruitment Solutions is partnered with a Series B infrastructure company, backed by Google Ventures and other tier 1 investors.

They’re looking for a Staff Product Engineer to set the technical direction for a new AI native dev tool product, owned end-to-end from architecture through to production.

This will be part of a bleeding edge, dev tools suite that is completely new to market without direct competition. This opportunity is high ownership, with significant influence and autonomy to execute.

Required experience:

• 7+ years as a full-stack engineer, with end-to-end ownership of 0-to-1 product builds
• Track record of leading through influence as an individual contributor
• Experience setting and leading the technical direction of a product from early stage through to customer adoption
• Ownership of production outcomes for what you’ve shipped
• Product development experience with TypeScript and React
• Experience with AI coding agents and agentic development workflows
• Ideally, experience building products where developers are the customer
