Location: Middletown, NJ – Onsite 5 Days/Week

Duration: 6+ Months

Important Requirement

This position is strictly onsite 5 days per week in Middletown, NJ. No hybrid or remote option is available.

Note: Candidates with only traditional Scrum Master experience and no strong Telecom OSS/Network technical background will not be considered.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced OSS (Network) Technical professional with Agile Scrum Master experience to support a major telecom engagement in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Telecom OSS/Networking , combined with the ability to lead Agile ceremonies, manage technical project activities, and drive outcomes across business and technology teams.

This is not a pure Scrum Master role. The candidate must have strong technical hands-on experience in the OSS Network domain , particularly Inventory, Network Configuration, Provisioning, and Service Assurance .

Must-Have Skills

• 6+ years of strong Telecom Domain experience with comprehensive understanding of OSS/Networking .
• Hands-on experience with Telecom OSS platforms and processes .
• Strong knowledge of:
• OSS Inventory
• Network Configuration
• Network Provisioning
• Service Assurance
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including:
• Routing and Switching
• Network Devices/Equipment
• VLANs
• Ports/Porting
• Network Connectivity
• Proven Agile Scrum Master experience with the ability to drive Agile ceremonies and technically manage projects.
• Strong experience with JIRA , including backlog management and tracking.
• Experience with estimation, sprint planning, release management, and backlog management .
• Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership .
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to drive projects toward measurable outcomes.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Agile Scrum Master Certification or SAFe Certification .
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience driving Scrum ceremonies and Agile delivery.
• Experience managing releases and coordinating cross-functional technical teams.
• Knowledge of Agentic AI solutions or relevant AI concepts and the ability to leverage AI to accelerate delivery and problem-solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership, ownership, and decision-making abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies , including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
• Provide technical leadership for OSS Network initiatives.
• Manage and prioritize the project backlog in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate estimation, sprint execution, dependencies, and release activities.
• Work closely with business teams and technical stakeholders to define requirements and drive successful outcomes.
• Identify and resolve technical/project impediments and risks.
• Manage project progress using JIRA and ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement across Agile delivery processes.
• Translate OSS/Network requirements into actionable technical outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Network, OSS, Engineering, and Business functions.
• Leverage emerging technologies, including Agentic AI , where applicable to improve delivery efficiency.
