Position Details:

• Employment Type:Full-time
• Role Overview –Python developer

As a key member of the Global Digital and Automation teams, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality automation solutions. You will leverage modern front-end frameworks and automation tools to deliver innovative solutions, support business processes, and drive process improvements. The role involves close collaboration with IT, business stakeholders, and CAT modeling SMEs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for existing automation tools (Excel macros, Robotic Process Automation, Python solutions).
• Conceptualize, build frameworks, and propose automation solutions to stakeholders.
• Plan and implement projects to support best practices and innovate new processes.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation tools (e.g., Excel macros, RPA workflows).
• Explore opportunities to migrate existing automation solutions to newer technologies (Power Automate, Automation Anywhere).
• Database management and process improvement.
• Liaise with CAT modeling SMEs, analysts, and management.
• Undertake analysis and/or research to identify anomalies, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Comply with administrative activities, MIS reporting, and other compliance requirements.

• Perform other related duties as required by the Team Lead and/or supervisor.

• 4-6 years’ experience coding in Python and other applications; knowledge of SQL and solving complex queries is an advantage.
• Graduate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
• Experience with automation tools such as Power Automate, Alteryx, UiPath, or Blue Prism is highly desirable.Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate business requirements and requests from different time zones.
• Proficiency in English (verbal, written, comprehension).
• Knowledge of P&C Insurance terminologies (CAT Modeling) is an added advantage.
• Document development processes through business process modeling and tracking traceability.
• Provide training and documentation to end users.
• Communicate with business owners and other counterparts to clarify and indicate understanding of assigned tasks.
