Digital Marketing & Social Media Virtual Assistant

About The Opportunity Our client is looking for a creative, proactive, and growth-minded Digital Marketing & Social Media Virtual Assistant to help grow the online presence of the business. The role focuses on social media management, content creation, audience growth, and email marketing , with an emphasis on bringing fresh ideas and taking initiatives from concept to execution. Occasional research, administrative, and founder-support tasks will also be included, but d igital marketing and social media will remain the primary focus. Primary Focus: Digital Marketing & Social Media You will help manage and grow the digital presence of the founder’s businesses through consistent, creative, and results-oriented marketing execution.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Planning, creating, scheduling, and publishing social media content across relevant platforms.
• Creating attractive, on-brand graphics, posts, and other marketing materials using Canva.
• Creating and editing Reels and short-form video content, including using tools such as CapCut.
• Repurposing existing ideas and materials into engaging social media content.
• Helping develop content calendars and maintaining a consistent posting schedule.
• Writing and refining social media captions, marketing copy, and other digital content.
• Researching content ideas, trends, competitors, hashtags, audience interests, and digital growth opportunities.
• Identifying opportunities to improve reach, engagement, brand awareness, and audience growth.
• Supporting email marketing, including preparing content, organizing campaigns, and assisting with campaign execution.
• Helping maintain consistent branding and messaging across digital channels.
• Monitoring content performance and using insights to recommend improvements.
• Proactively suggesting new content, campaigns, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
• Staying current on relevant social media and digital marketing trends and recommending ideas that could benefit the businesses.

You’ll Support Women’s Health

Support the digital growth and marketing of our client including social media, content creation, brand awareness, email marketing, and other growth initiatives.

You may also assist the founder with business development, research, execution, and organization related to growing the business.

Founder & Administrative Support Although digital marketing and social media will remain the primary focus, you will also provide some support that helps the founder stay organized and focused on growth.

This May Include

• Organizing marketing projects, priorities, and follow-ups.
• Conducting online research.
• Tracking action items and deadlines.
• Supporting business development outreach and follow-up.
• Helping turn ideas into organized next steps.
• Handling occasional administrative tasks that free the founder to focus on higher-value priorities.

Occasional Personal Assistant Support A smaller portion of the role may involve occasional personal administrative assistance, primarily:

• Helping coordinate home-care logistics for the founder’s mother-in-law.
• Scheduling and coordination.
• Research and follow-up.
• Other occasional personal administrative needs.

This will be a secondary responsibility. The main focus of the position remains digital marketing and social media. Requirements Experience Requirements

• Virtual Assistant experience: Previous VA experience is preferred but not mandatory if the candidate has strong, relevant digital marketing and social media experience.
• Must have relevant experience in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, or a closely related field.
• Must be comfortable using Canva to create professional and engaging visual content.
• Experience creating or editing Reels and short-form videos, including experience with CapCut or similar tools, is strongly preferred.
• Experience with email marketing is preferred.
• Experience supporting a founder, entrepreneur, small business, or growing brand is a plus.
