Job Description

Destination Tomorrow (DT) is a national grassroots LGBTQ+ organization founded in the Bronx, built on the principle that no individual should have to leave their neighborhood for necessary services. DT’s mission is to move clients off the path of emergency care to one where they can grow, learn, and flourish by emphasizing economic, social, and mental empowerment through comprehensive educational, financial, and health programs, as well as housing solutions. As an expanding multi-site organization, Destination Tomorrow proudly serves the community across The Bronx, New York City; Atlanta, GA; and Washington, D.C.

Destination Tomorrow is seeking an exceptional, experienced Executive Assistant to serve as the CEO’s trusted strategic partner in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization experiencing significant growth.

More than a traditional administrative role, this position acts as the CEO’s right hand— thinking and planning ahead to manage priorities, driving accountability and decisions, proactively coordinating and improving executive scheduling and operations, streamlining communication, and facilitating follow-through to keep momentum on priority initiatives.

This role will function as an extension of the CEO’s office and play a critical role in helping Destination Tomorrow scale effectively while protecting the CEO’s time and attention. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-focused, highly organized, resourceful, and thrives in dynamic environments where no two days are the same.

Please note: Finalists will be asked to complete a strategic project and present their recommendations to the CEO as part of the final interview process.

  • Maintain a professional and seamless experience for funders, elected officials, partners, media representatives, and VIP guests.
  • Manage inbound requests and ensure information reaches the CEO efficiently.
