Web Support Specialist – 100% Remote

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $32.00/hour

W-2 contract with potential to extend

The Opportunity

Our Client, a leading higher education institution, is seeking a detail-oriented Web Support Specialist to help maintain and enhance its digital presence. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong writer and editor who enjoys working with web content, collaborating across teams, and ensuring information is accurate, polished, and engaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Update and maintain website content using WordPress , including text, images, and other digital assets.
• Review and proofread web content for grammar, accuracy, consistency, and overall quality .
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather information, address questions, and move projects through completion.
• Support high-visibility and occasionally sensitive organizational communications with professionalism and discretion.
• Work across multiple digital platforms and quickly adapt to new content-management tools and technologies.
• Assist with light image editing or graphic design as needed.
• Maintain strong organization and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities.

• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• High proficiency with WordPress .
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative, follow up with stakeholders, and see projects through from start to finish.
• Strong collaboration skills and comfort working across multiple teams.
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate digital platforms such as SEMrush, Funnelback, Localist , or similar tools.
• Light image editing or graphic design experience is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Remote Work: This position is 100% remote, with preference given to candidates in the local area. The selected candidate should have access to their own laptop, equipment will not be provided.
