Job Description
Tech Pipeline is working with a Dubai-based investment group to address the operational drag within their internal portfolio management tools. These systems have become cluttered with manual workarounds and fragmented data displays that slow down their daily operations. We are looking for a Frontend Engineer Intern to help us clean up these interfaces and build better ways for their team to interact with complex data. This is a full-time, fully remote position where you will focus on the practical task of making software work exactly how the users need it to.
About Tech Pipeline
- We fix the broken approval chains and manual reconciliations that stall company growth.
- We look for the seams between existing software systems where data often goes bad.
- Our team prioritizes working code and clear documentation over abstract presentations.
- We believe the tools a company already owns are usually the best place for a fix.
- We specialize in finding where a process has degraded into chaos and restoring order through technical configuration.
- Once a system is stable and the client can run it without us, we finish the project and move on.
What You Will Do
- Build and refine frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks to replace outdated manual entry forms.
- Clean up CSS and layout inconsistencies that cause friction for the investment group’s analysts.
- Work with our engineers to connect frontend views to existing internal APIs and data sources.
- Update and maintain the design system documentation to ensure future changes are easy to manage.
- Review error logs and user feedback to identify where the interface is failing or confusing the team.
- Participate in the cutover process for new features, ensuring the interface remains stable under real-world use.
- Write clear runbooks for the client so they understand how to maintain the new frontend elements.
- Help consolidate drifting UI libraries into a single, predictable structure.
What You Bring
- Basic familiarity with JavaScript and at least one framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- A solid understanding of HTML and CSS, including how to build responsive layouts that do not break.
- A logical approach to troubleshooting where you look at the logs before guessing at a solution.
- The ability to write documentation in plain English that a non-technical user can understand.
- An interest in how investment groups manage data and where the software interfaces usually fail them.
- Comfort working in a fully remote setting where most communication happens through written updates.
- Curiosity about the specific routing rules and logic that drive business software.
- A preference for finishing tasks and ensuring they work correctly over starting multiple new projects.
What We Offer
- A fully remote work environment that values focus and clear communication.
- The opportunity to work on a high-stakes project for a Dubai-based investment group.
- Practical experience in fixing real operational problems rather than just building hypothetical features.
- This is a paid internship, and the compensation is competitive and attractive for this level of experience.
- Direct mentorship from senior engineers who focus on clarity, ownership, and technical excellence.
- A culture that avoids unnecessary meetings in favor of well-documented, asynchronous progress.
How We Work At Tech Pipeline, we do not believe in permanent retainers. We enter a project to solve a specific problem and we leave once the fix holds. This requires us to be disciplined about our documentation and our decision logs. We use weekly written updates to keep everyone aligned, which minimizes the need for long video calls. We value engineers who take ownership of their specific tasks and see them through to the first month of live operation. Our goal is to remove the daily drag for our clients, and we apply that same logic to our internal processes by keeping things simple and direct.
