• Having experience in RHD / LGED projects.
• Conduct engineering surveys for the selected roads and other structures including Box girder and PC girder bridges etc.
• Provide inputs into the design process prepare the Bill of Quantities as per the final design drawings and calculate the final quantities.
• Having experience in piling work.
• Assess the work activities for which labour-based construction methods are appropriate and for those sections for which heavy machinery is appropriate, establish a cost estimate for the rehabilitation and construction works for roads & bridges.
• Make any necessary changes to the design drawings as per the site conditions.
• Supervise contractors on site, ensuring that the works meet the highest standards.
• Review the contractor’s work programmers, resource, schedule and project implementation plans and ensure that the contractors/site supervisors comply with their work plans and complete the work within the specified time frame.
• Assess and evaluate the contractor’s performance and resources.
• Liaison with governmental organizations on any issue that arises.
• Any other job as per management’s requirement.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 12 years
• Education: bachelor of science in engineering
• Skills: road construction, construction supervision, civil engineering design, construction industry knowledge, construction management, site engineering, civil engineering, structural engineering knowledge
