Note:

• Only candidates with 3+ years of full stack software engineering experience will be considered.

• This is open for applicants who are enrolled in Masters of Engineering or Science, with focus on Computer Engineering / Computer Science.

Role Overview:

• You’ll not simply receive finalized specifications. You will help clarify the underlying problem, challenge assumptions, define requirements, evaluate possible solutions, and decide what should be built. You will then take ownership of delivering the solution—from prototyping and technical design through launch and iteration.
• You’ll be responsible for leading the end-to-end development of full-stack applications while ensuring robust, scalable platform infrastructure. You’ll combine hands-on coding with platform engineering expertise, overseeing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and system reliability.
• This is a hands-on role combining product judgment, business understanding, and strong software engineering. You should be comfortable working with ambiguity, communicating directly with decision-makers, and making practical trade-offs between customer value, delivery speed, technical quality, and business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner directly with business team to understand business objectives and turn them into clear product opportunities.
• Refine requests by identifying the underlying user problem, desired outcome, constraints, and measures of success.
• Challenge assumptions constructively and recommend simpler or more effective solutions when appropriate.
• Translate business and customer needs into product requirements, user flows, prototypes, and implementation plans.
• Build customer-facing applications, internal tools, APIs, data products, and AI-powered workflows.
• Speak with users and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and validate whether solutions solve the intended problem.
• Prioritize work based on business impact, customer value, urgency, effort, and technical risk.
• Use prototypes and lightweight experiments to test uncertain ideas before making larger investments.
• Define and monitor success metrics for the products and features you launch.
• Make independent product and technical decisions while keeping business team informed of trade-offs and risks.
• Maintain appropriate standards for code quality, security, reliability, testing, and maintainability.
• Mentor other engineers and help build a culture of ownership, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
• Own and lead the overall design, development, and deployment of full-stack web applications and APIs.

Mandatory Requirements:

• At least 3+ years of hands-on software engineering, with a track record of independently shipping production products.
• Excellent and concise written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience working directly with business team to define loosely defined business needs into clear product requirements, and deliver software solutions.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving startup environment with incomplete information.
