Senior Software Engineer / Software Architect – C# / .NET
**📍Kuala Lumpur On-site**We are hiring a senior hands-on engineer to own the architecture and engineering quality of software used within certified life-safety and fire detection systems .
This is a great opportunity to join an established international company while helping build a new division in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Own software architecture, data models, file formats, versioning and compatibility
• Build production-quality applications using C# / modern .NET
• Implement PKI, certificates, TLS/mTLS, credential storage and secure updates
• Drive code review, automated testing, release management and requirements traceability
• Produce verification evidence for third-party evaluation
• Work closely with product, hardware and external engineering partners
Requirements
• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong C# / .NET and desktop application experience, ideally WPF
• Experience with certified, regulated or safety-related products
• Strong software architecture, security, Git and testing practices
• Degree in Computer Science, Software, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Experience with embedded hardware, industrial protocols, IEC 61508 / IEC 62304 / UL 1998, databases or desktop deployment is advantageous.
✈️ Approx. 10% travel
🗣️ English and Simplified Chinese proficiency required to work with partners in China.
