Position Summary
BRdata is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance our Retail Boss application. The ideal candidate will work closely with our technical support and project management teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions that support retail and wholesale business operations.
Our ideal candidate will participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software application features and enhancements.
- Develop efficient, scalable, and maintainable code following established coding standards.
- Integrate application solutions with internal and third-party systems, databases, and APIs.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with source control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with retail, grocery, wholesale distribution, or private label business systems.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with reporting and data integration tools.
- Proficiency in any of the following:
- C# / .NET Framework
- SQL Server
- RESTful APIs
- PLB (Programming Language for Business)
