Position: Appian Developer
Experience: 3-5 Years
Department: Engineering

Notice Preference: Immediate only

Work mode: Full WFO, Mon-Fri, 1st and last Saturday half working day.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Appian Developer to join our Appian practice on a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) basis. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, configuring, and supporting Appian applications, with a strong understanding of business process automation and low-code application development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using the Appian platform.
  • Build and configure Appian objects such as Process Models, Records, Interfaces, Reports, Sites, and Integrations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs for system integrations.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Appian development best practices.
  • Participate in testing, deployment, and release management activities.
  • Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Appian development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Appian SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Interfaces, and Expression Rules.
  • Experience in Appian integrations using REST APIs, Web Services, and databases.
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Understanding of Appian security, groups, and role-based access controls.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Appian Associate Developer Certification or above
  • Experience in BFSI, Insurance, or Financial Services domains.
  • Exposure to Appian deployment and performance optimization.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
