Mainframe Developer DB2(need immediate joiners)

Experience: 6 8 Years

Location: Chennai

Contract Position Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, and DB2 . The candidate will be responsible for application development, maintenance, production support, troubleshooting, and performance improvement of mainframe applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain mainframe applications .

Develop and modify programs using COBOL, JCL, and DB2 .

Analyze business and technical requirements and provide effective solutions.

Support existing applications and troubleshoot production issues.

Perform system analysis and identify performance or technical issues.

Develop and implement procedures for mainframe systems.

Recommend improvements for system performance and efficiency.

Maintain technical documentation for application changes and enhancements.

Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and technical teams.

Required Skills Mainframe production support and troubleshooting
