Role Description
- Provide L3 operational support for enterprise LAN/WAN, campus, branch, and data center networks using Juniper technologies.
- Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Juniper EX, QFX, MX, and SRX platforms.
- Troubleshoot complex routing and switching issues and lead service restoration for critical incidents.
- Strong hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, VRRP, EVPN-VXLAN, STP/RSTP/MSTP, Multicast, VLAN, LAG, and QoS.
- Execute network upgrades, migrations, hardware refreshes, software/code upgrades, and HA validation.
- Analyze packet captures, logs, routing tables, protocol adjacencies, interface statistics, and traffic flows for fault isolation.
- Perform RCA/CAPA for recurring and high-impact network issues.
- Review network configurations for standards compliance, resiliency, performance, and security hardening.
- Provide technical leadership for complex changes, major incidents, and network optimization activities.
- Working knowledge of Wireless, NAC, DDI, SD-WAN, Network Security, and Load Balancers is desirable.
