Children & Youth Music and Theater Admin. Assistant

I. MAJOR PURPOSE

To provide administrative support to the Director of Youth Music and Theater

II. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with preparations for rehearsals and parent meetings.
• Provide general administrative support (emails, rosters, volunteer organization, advertising
• Maintain social media and website information, create event flyers.

III. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reserve rooms on the church calendar system.
• Gather supplies for rehearsals and meetings.
• Maintain email groups, student rosters, and attendance sheets.
• Create and maintain budget and expense spreadsheets.
• Prepare attendance rosters and volunteer sign-ups, and ensure volunteer compliance with AB506.
• Create outreach materials (flyers, rave cards).
• Maintain social media platforms and theater ministry webpage.

IV. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS Relates as a colleague with the entire staff.

V. QUALIFICATIONS

• Self-starter, eager to learn, able to work independently.
• Competent in Excel, Word, and other apps (InDesign, Photoshop, Facebook,
• WhatsApp, Instagram). Familiarity with AirTable relational databases.
• Organizational and team-oriented skills.
• Flexibility with scheduling including some evenings, weekends and holidays.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
