- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC
- Experience in manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
- Ability to write and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
- Defect tracking and reporting using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Good understanding of test data preparation and validation techniques Automation Testing Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with automation tools such as:
o Selenium WebDriver / Cypress / Playwright
- Programming knowledge in:
o Java / Python / JavaScript
- Development and maintenance of automation test scripts and frameworks
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines)
- Experience with version control systems (Git) Agile Methodology Experience
- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Participation in:
o Sprint planning
o Daily standups
o Sprint reviews & retrospectives
- Understanding of user stories, acceptance criteria, and Definition of Done
- Ability to perform continuous testing within sprints
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to identify edge cases and potential risks
- Root cause analysis of defects and issues Communication & Collaboration
- Effective communication with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders
- Ability to clearly document and explain defects
- Strong team player mindset with collaboration across cross-functional teams Work Ethic & Soft Skills
- Patient and detail-oriented, especially with repetitive testing tasks
- Proactive in identifying issues, risks, and improvements
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Adaptable to changing requirements in fast-paced Agile environments
- Ownership and accountability for assigned tasks Additional Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with API testing (Postman / Rest Assured)
- Basic knowledge of SQL/Database testing
- Exposure to performance or security testing tools
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
