Position: Network Security Engineer / RADIUS Consultant
Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)
Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Review & Assessment
- Evaluate current RADIUS and TACACS setup
- Identify gaps in security, access control, and scalability
- Secure Communication Setup
- Enable TLS (secure communication) for RADIUS & TACACS
- Ensure all communication is protected end to end
- Authentication & Access Control
- Set up centralized login (authentication)
- Enable command-level control (what users can do)
- Apply consistent access policies across all devices
- Session Management
- Configure simultaneous session limits per user
- Example: restrict number of active logins per user
- Prevent duplicate or unauthorized concurrent access
- Provide visibility and control over active sessions
- Device Compatibility
- Ensure support for IPv4 and IPv6
- Validate across all device types
- Provide workaround solutions for devices without TLS support
- Key Management & Security
- Enable automatic key and password rotation
- Secure storage and handling of secrets & Ensure encrypted communication to backend systems
