Bilingual (Spanish/English) Loan Processing Assistant / Office Assistant — Entry Level, We Train

Fetti Financial Services is a licensed mortgage lender and broker based in Los Angeles. We help homeowners buy and refinance, and we finance real estate investors across the country.

This is a part-time, fully remote position — Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Pacific, 25 hours a week. You must live in California.

This role requires fluent Spanish and English. A real share of our borrowers do business in Spanish, and this person speaks with them every day — on the phone, in email, and while walking them through what a lender is asking for.

You do not need mortgage experience. We’re looking for someone organized, dependable and good with people, and we will teach you the loan side of it from the ground up. If you’ve been trying to get into real estate, mortgage or finance and can’t get in the door without experience, this is that door.

What you’ll do

You’ll start on the office and document side, and take on more of the loan file as you learn it.

Right away

• Answer and route incoming calls in Spanish and English, take clean messages, return borrower calls
• Keep our system current — contact records, notes, tasks and follow-ups
• Request documents from borrowers and follow up until they arrive, by phone, text and email — in whichever language the borrower prefers
• Check incoming documents for legibility, completeness and correct dates
• Scan, name, organize and file loan documents so nothing gets lost
• Schedule appointments, closings and signings
• Handle incoming email and general office administration

As you learn it (we’ll train you on all of this)

• Build the document checklist for each loan program
• Order title, appraisal, employment verifications and payoff demands, and track each to completion
• Upload files and conditions into wholesale lender portals
• Break lender conditions into individual requests and help clear them one by one
• Send disclosure and e-signature packages and confirm signatures come back complete
• Keep the loan pipeline accurate: what stage each file is in and what it’s waiting on

What we’re looking for

• Fluent in Spanish and English — reading, writing and speaking. You’ll talk with borrowers in Spanish and write to lenders and agents in English, so we need both, not one plus a little
• Genuinely organized. You’ll juggle several files at once, each waiting on something different
• Comfortable on the phone in either language, including with people who are stressed about money
• Follows through. Most of this job is noticing what’s missing and chasing it down
• Careful with confidential financial documents — pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements
• Basic computer skills: email, web applications, PDFs
• A quiet place to work, your own computer, and reliable internet — this role is fully remote
• You must live in California
• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to have, but truly not required

• Any customer service, administrative, receptionist or data entry background
• Exposure to real estate, title, escrow, banking or insurance
• A third language

Pay and what this job is — straight with you

• $18.42 per hour, 25 hours a week — about $460 per week before taxes.
• This position does not offer benefits — no health insurance, no retirement plan, no paid time off.
• No commission and no bonus. The hourly rate is the whole compensation.
• Set hours, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Pacific. This is not a flexible-schedule role — borrowers and lenders call during those hours and we need you there.

What we’re actually offering is training and a way in. You’ll learn how a mortgage file really works — documents, conditions, underwriting, closing — from someone doing it every day. That knowledge is what moves people into processing, origination and beyond.
