Senior Front End Software Engineer (Insurance - Mandatory)

🚨 Insurance industry experience is essential for this role. Applications without insurance sector experience will not be considered.

We’re partnering with a leading Insurance organisation seeking a Senior Front End Software Engineer to build modern, accessible, and high-performing digital products that directly impact customers and business outcomes.

What you’ll be doing:

✅ Developing scalable web applications using React, Next.js and TypeScript

✅ Building responsive, accessible user experiences aligned to WCAG 2.1 AA standards

✅ Collaborating with Product, Architecture, QA and Engineering teams in an Agile environment

✅ Driving engineering best practice including testing, code reviews and CI/CD

✅ Contributing to design systems, reusable components and technical innovation

What we’re looking for:

✔ 3+ years’ software engineering experience

✔ Strong expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3

✔ Experience integrating APIs and modern web platforms

✔ Knowledge of front-end security, performance optimisation and automated testing

✔ Previous experience working within the insurance sector (mandatory)

Desirable:

➕ Cloud and DevOps exposure

➕ Microservices and containerisation experience

➕ Experience in regulated environments
