About the Role
Hitachi Digital Services is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer Intern to join our IoT engineering team in Ho Chi Minh City. In this internship, you will gain hands-on experience in embedded systems development, contribute to real-world engineering projects, and learn directly from experienced senior developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, coding, and testing embedded software modules using C/C++.
- Work with microcontroller platforms (MCU) and peripheral communication interfaces.
- Perform debugging, unit testing, and software integration under senior guidance.
- Support technical documentation, review test results, and participate in team discussions.
- Learn and apply software engineering best practices, design patterns, and OOP concepts.
Requirements
- Senior students or recent graduates in Electronics, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic programming experience in C/C++ on Windows (Visual Studio) or Linux environments.
- Foundational embedded domain knowledge: Microcontrollers (MCU), RTOS, CPU architecture, and communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI).
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Bonus Points: Experience working on macOS or with Objective-C.
- Proactive attitude, strong problem-solving mindset, and eager to learn.
