Experienced Network Engineer

One of Baltimore/Washington’s leading technical solutions providers is seeking an experienced Network Support Technician to provide onsite IT support to our clients in the SMB market

Summary of Requirements:

• Server Setup, Implementation, Configuration & Troubleshooting (2016 & Newer)
• Firewall Setup, Implementation, Configuration & Troubleshooting (WatchGuard Experience Is A Plus)
• VMWare
• Exchange On Premise (2016 & Newer)
• Wireless Setup & Configuration

Qualifications:

• Must Have 3+ Years Of Current Network Support Experience - MUST PROVIDE CURRENT AND VALID REFERENCES WHICH WILL BE CHECKED!!
• Current Certifications Will Be Given Special Consideration
• Must Have Valid State Issued Driver’s License & Insurance - Current Driving Record May Be Requested
• Must Have Current Experience With All Windows Operating Systems
• Must Have Relevant & Recent Server OS Knowledge (installation/configuration)
• Must Have Recent Experience Working With Networking In A Business Environment
• Recent Experience Required With Networking (DNS, DHCP, Terminal Services, VPN, etc)
• Recent Experience with Firewalls & Firewall Configuration (SonicWall, Ubiquiti, WatchGuard, Fortigate/Fortinet)

Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Install, Setup & Design Of On-Premise Servers, Exchange, DNS, DHCP & Hyper-V
• Knowledge Of VMWare
• Install & Setup Of Business Grade Firewalls - Setup/Configure T/S, VPN (Preferably WatchGuard)
• Experience with Active Directory and other server-based products (Exchange, SQL, etc)
• Experience with standard office productivity packages (QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Office 365/Sharepoint, Sage, etc)
• Familiarity with VoIP is a plus
• Knowledge of hard-wired and wireless devices: Routers, Switches, Firewalls
• Remote Desktop Support
• Travel to clients for on-site troubleshooting, repair, support, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

• Knowledge of ticketing systems (ConnectWise)

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
