• Academic Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
• Batch Year: Students with at least 2 years of university education completed (typically targeting 2027 or 2028 graduating classes for internships).
• Programming Fluency: Demonstrated experience through coursework, competitive programming, or side projects. While Stripe predominantly uses Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala, and Go, we prioritize core computer science fundamentals over specific language syntax.
• Collaborative Experience: Previous exposure to multi-person software projects, open-source contributions, or prior internships where you successfully navigated feedback from mentors and peers.
