Java Backend Developer – Commercial Banking

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to join a dynamic team working on high-impact Commercial Banking Platform and integration solutions .

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable integration solutions using Java and Spring Boot .
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices .
  • Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum environment throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Develop containerized applications for deployment on OpenShift .
  • Ensure backend applications meet performance, security, scalability, and reliability standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Must-Have Skills

  • 8+ years of backend development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot .
  • Extensive experience with REST APIs and Microservices Architecture .
  • Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL , or similar databases.
  • Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka and MQ .
  • Hands-on experience building containerized applications .
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, OpenShift, or GCP .

Nice to Have

  • Camunda BPMN experience.
  • DMN experience with Camunda, Drools, or similar technologies.
  • Python development experience.
  • Front-end experience with React .
  • Experience using GitHub Copilot or other AI coding assistants .
