Job Description
Lead Frontend Website Developer — 6-Week Private Healthcare Website Rebuild
Location: Dubai, UAE
Contract: Fixed-term project, approximately 6 weeks
Fee: AED 7,500 fixed project fee
Start: Late August 2026
Production deadline: 10 October 2026
About the project
CP Medical Clinic is an established CQC-regulated private medical clinic in
Chelsea, London. We are rebuilding our long-established website and are looking
for an experienced Lead Frontend Website Developer based in Dubai to personally
deliver the public-facing site.
This is not a design project, and we are not looking for an agency.
The visual direction, HTML prototype, design tokens, responsive layouts, site
architecture, reusable module system, master service-page structure, individual
page specifications, clinical copy, clinician information, fees and opening
information are all supplied by CPMC.
Your role is to turn that defined system into a polished, fast,
production-quality website with a particularly strong mobile implementation.
The majority of our patients reach us on a phone.
Please do not apply unless all of these apply to you
- You are currently based in Dubai and can attend face-to-face working sessions
- You have at least 5 years of professional web-development experience
- You can show at least two live production websites you personally coded
- You have strong practical experience with modern component-based frontend
- development — React, Next.js or equivalent
- You are experienced in responsive and mobile-first development, CMS
implementation, API consumption, Git, staging and production deployment, technical SEO, accessibility and performance optimisation
- You can translate a supplied design system into production code accurately,
rather than replacing it with your own template or interpretation
- You can make CPMC your primary development commitment for the six-week buildThis role is not suitable for anyone whose primary experience is installing
WordPress themes, Elementor templates or pre-built website kits.
We are not looking for someone intending to fit this project around another
full-time development job in evenings and weekends.
Agencies, account managers, outsourced teams and applicants intending to
subcontract the work should not apply.
The two-developer structure
This project is delivered by two named developers working directly together:
- Lead Frontend Website Developer (this role)
- Backend & API Integrations Developer
Both report directly to CPMC, work in the same CPMC-owned repository and
staging environment, and may not pass their work to third parties.
You must be comfortable agreeing interfaces directly with another developer,
documenting what you hand over, and resolving technical boundary questions
collaboratively rather than escalating them.
What you will own
The complete public-facing website: homepage, approximately 16 clinical service
pages, four category landing pages, clinician profiles, Fees, About, Contact,
Knowledge Hub and supporting pages.
Your responsibilities include:
- Responsive mobile and desktop implementation
- A reusable component and service-module system, rather than individually
- hard-coded pages
-
Navigation, menus and mobile action controls
- CMS architecture and the content-editing workflow, so clinic staff can safely
update defined content after launch
- Forms and validation
- The booking interface and the checkout interface
- Analytics, consent and conversion tracking
- Technical SEO
- Legacy URL migration and 301 redirects
- Accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA
- Mobile Core Web Vitals optimisation
- Cross-browser and cross-device testing
- Documentation and final handoverYou will also be technical owner of the repository, staging environment and
deployment pipeline. Branch protection and a pull-request workflow will be
used, and the Backend Developer contributes through the same process.
Accessibility and performance are acceptance criteria, not aspirations. The
delivered site will be assessed against WCAG 2.2 AA and against Core Web Vitals
thresholds on mobile.
Design implementation matters
The approved design is a defined premium visual system: editorial typography,
precise spacing and hierarchy, mobile-first layouts, responsive service
modules, carefully designed navigation, persistent mobile actions, controlled
use of colour and whitespace.
You must be comfortable reproducing supplied lay…
